Commemorative Publications for the Celebration of the 100th Year Jubilee of the ROCA

The recent centenary of the Russian Church Abroad recalled the life of several generations of our people. Our pastors in their articles have marked out various important aspects of the century of our church’s existence in the form of two beautiful brochures;
- “The Path of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad”,
- “The Icon of the Centenary of the Russian Church Abroad”.
In addition to the brochures, an audio disc “The Lord Is King…” was also issued in conjunction with the centenary. How wonderful it will be to have in your prayer library these historical brochures and audio disc, which would always remind you and your descendants of the difficult path our ancestors followed in upholding our Church.

We bring to your attention a CD entitled “The Lord Is King…” with Church pieces recorded by a male choir of our church. The disc contains 9 selections in liturgical chants, including Znamenny and Kievan. The recording was made in the church of St. Sergius of Radonezh at the Tolstoy Foundation. The choir, led by Mark Kotlaroff included Archbishop Andronik (Kotliaroff), Hegumen Ignatiy (Krutkov), Deacon Viktor Zavodov, Reader Yuri Seredyuk, Nickolas Budzilovich, Peter Budzilovich, Nikolai Shevelchinsky, Mark Lukin and Vyacheslav Nikitin.
These hymns were published especially for the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the ROCA, and all proceeds will go to the North American Diocese. The cost per CD is $20, plus postage within the US at $5. Outside the United States, postage varies by location.
We also offer a 40 page brochure “The Path of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad”, published with the blessing of Archbishop Andronik for the celebration of the centenary of ROCA. The brochure includes articles on the history and present life of the Church Abroad:

- “Why It Is Necessary to Repent of the Sin of Sergianism” by Vitaly Shumilo.

- “The Way of the Holy Cross” by Hegumen Ignatiy (Krutkov).
- “Monasticism in the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad” by Abbess Evphrosinia (Molchanova).
Also included in the brochure are two full color illustrations of the Myrrh-streaming Iveron Montreal Icon and the Kursk-Korennaya Icon of the Sign.
The cost of the 40 page printed brochure with illustrations in color (8.5” x 11”) complete with a printed copy of the 100 Year Icon (8.5: x 11”) is $10, plus postage within the US at $5. Outside the United States, postage varies by location.
We also have a 40 page brochure explaining “The Icon of the Centenary of the Russian Church Abroad” published with the blessing of Archbishop Sophrony. It is a detailed description in both Russian and in English of the Icon of the Centenary of the Russian Church Abroad, printed edition, size 5.5” x 8”, with a cover in full color on high-quality paper. The cost of the printed brochure is $3 plus postage within the US at $5. Outside the United States, postage varies by location.
