Upright Fathers, beloved in Christ brothers and sisters, Christ is Risen!

Today, our Church is living through difficult times: the war in the Ukraine has touched the lives of millions of people around the planet, among them our parishes. We share their grief and pray that through His love for humanity, the Lord will end this bloody war. The Resurrection of Christ is the cornerstone of our holy Faith. 

It’s very characteristic that in our times, only our Holy Orthodox Church celebrates “this anticipated and holy day” in the same way as it was celebrated by the first Christians in the distant antiquity, and this by itself appears as a most potent witness to the verity of our Holy Orthodox Faith, which shows Her pre-eminence over all other Confessions that call themselves “Christian”, but have fallen away from Holy Orthodoxy.                                                                                                                                       

As Saint John the Golden Tongue invokes: “Let us celebrate this supreme and bright Holy Day on which the Lord Resurrected! Let us celebrate it glowingly and devotionally, for the Lord resurrected and resurrected with Him the whole universe”.

Let us with all the faithful sing joyfully the victorious song:
