A Bishop’s Service Was Held On the patronal feast day of the church of St. Sergius of Radonezh
On Monday, July 18 we joyfully celebrated our patronal Feast Day – the day of finding of the relics of the main patron of the church, St. Sergius of Radonezh.
His Eminence Andronik, Archbishop of New York and North America, took part in the celebratory services, he was co-served by Protopresbyter Gregory Kotlaroff, Rector of the Church of St. Sergius of Radonezh, Archpriest Dimitriy Dobronravov, Abbot Ignatiy Krutkov, and Deacon Gregory Axelrod.
The church was filled with believers who came to pray to the Servant of God, St. Sergius. At the end of the Liturgy, a festive moleben was sung with the participation of all the clergy. After the end of the service, parishioners and guests were able to reinforce their bodily strength with a hearty meal.
