Youth Pilgrimage – Summer of 2023

The ROCA Fund is pleased to announce that in the summer of 2023 a 2-week youth pilgrimage to Serbia will take place.

Girls from the age of 14 years old will be able to participate in this trip.

This interesting program will include visiting the holy places of Serbia, an excursion in Belgrade and, of course, accommodation in the Novo-Stennik convent, where you can see the daily monastic life from the inside, take part in divine services, spiritual conversations, reading the Holy Scriptures, the lives of the saints, get spiritual advice and make new friends.

Now, more than ever, what is required of the Church is early Christian simplicity, all-encompassing love, kindness, attention to every person, but at the same time steadfastness in the Truth. The Novo-Stennik Convent is just such an example of simplicity, love and Truth. It is located high in the mountains, where beautiful nature and clean air give beauty, peace and tranquility and will not leave the heart indifferent. Girls will be able to acquire the skills of church singing, caring for livestock, helping in the kitchen and in everyday monastic care.
