General Confession of the Clergy of the New York and North American Diocese

On March 26, 2025, Wednesday of the fourth week of Great Lent, a general confession of the clergy of our diocese was held at the Church of the Holy New Martyrs and Confessors of Russia in Mountainview. The clergy, led by the ruling hierarch of the New York and North American Diocese, Archbishop Andronik, gathered for common prayer, confession, and the partaking of the Holy Mysteries of Christ.

Before the beginning of the service, a general confession of the clergy took place, after which the Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts was celebrated.

Following the service, Archbishop Andronik presided over the annual Diocesan Assembly. The priests presented their yearly reports on parish life. Clergy who were unable to attend in person also took part in the meeting via video conference. A spirit of great brotherly love and support was felt between the bishop and the clergy.

Protopresbyter Gregory addressed the clergy with an edifying word, calling on everyone, in the words of the First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad, to stand firm in the faith, to preserve what we have, and to treat their ministry with reverence.

The sisterhood of the monastery made every effort to organize and host the annual clergy gathering.
