The Servant of God Nicholas Timtsenko has departed in the Lord

On October 16fh 2026, the Servant of God Nicholas Timtsenko departed in the Lord.  Nicholas spent many years  as the warden of the St. Ksenia parish in Ottawa Canada.  When the majority of the parish decided to join the Moscow Patriarchate, Nicholas stood steadfast against this, separated from the parish, and continued to serve the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad.

Eternal Memory to the Servant of God Nicholas!

A note from the family was provided below:

“Nicholas Timtsenko, committed his soul to God, Friday October 16th 2026. Peacefully in hospital surrounded by loved ones.

Known as a gentle giant by young and old and for his steadfast, lionhearted devotion to his faith and family. He leaves his family a life time of beautiful memories and a true example of the humble, unsung hero.  He lives on through Christ our God. May the Kingdom of Heaven be his. Eternal Memory!

November 5, 1950 – October 16, 2026.”
