Update: Servant of God Valery has reposed in the Lord

On December 31^st, 2019 a servant of God Valery Karakolev has reposed in the Lord – a parishioner of the Holy Trinity Church in Astoria. A pious man and of deep faith, Valery was seriously ill for several years. The Lord called him to a place, “where there is no pain, nor any sorrow, nor is there any sighing, but life unending.” Valery left behind his dear, devoted wife Natalia and three young boys: John, Zachariah and Panteleimon. An orphaned family is going through difficult times; over the past two years of illness all their savings went to Valery’s treatment.
